Prismaticism wins the last 2026 qualifier on Rengar as post-ban results emerge

— The Los Angeles Regional Qualifier ended with DSG Prismaticism winning on Rengar at 14-0-2. Riftbound.gg’s event breakdown says the top eight featured two each of Irelia and Azir, with the other places split among Rengar, Ornn, Master Yi and Akali; Kennen made no top eight despite strong early representation. The report reads the top end as more varied after the bans, though many leading strategies remained familiar.

Radiance introduces Deploy, Show Off and Disarm—and an even rarer Ultimate Rare

— Riot’s first Radiance overview outlines three mechanics: Gear can Deploy to a battlefield, Show Off unlocks an extra effect by revealing a qualifying card, and Disarm reduces an enemy unit’s Might while attacking. The set arrives October 23, with previews through October 9. Riot says its second Ultimate Rare averages about one per 4,000 packs across the print run, with no guaranteed appearance in any pack, box or case.

A missed Kai’Sa death in LA semifinal fuels a player-responsibility rules debate

— Riftbound Zone reconstructs a semifinal sequence in which Kai’Sa, Survivor reportedly kept five marked damage after leaving a battlefield that had boosted its Might. The article says the unit should have died, but remained in play; neither the semifinal nor Prismaticism’s eventual win was changed, and Riot had not commented as of publication. The report and linked Reddit discussion frame it as a missed game-state correction, not evidence of intentional misconduct.

Riot sets Radiance product prices and a lottery-style purchase window

— Riot’s Radiance FAQ lists the booster display at $119.99 and the Seraphine-versus-Evelynn Showdown Decks at $34.99. Eligible buyers enter a five-day drawing for the chance to purchase; selected accounts then have 24 hours to complete an order. The overview says sign-ups run September 25–30 and selection begins October 5, so entry availability is time-sensitive at this cutoff.

Riot reveals first 2027 Regionals and Continental dates

— Riot has posted the first dates for the Legacy-season premier events: Madrid’s Regional is February 5–7, Philadelphia’s is February 12–14, and the first Riftbound Continental will be in Dallas on March 26–28. Riot says an additional Oceania Regional is still to be confirmed and that a fuller premier-play overview is forthcoming.

Izzet Madness 5-0 result puts a Pauper mash-up on the watch list

— MTG Rocks highlights a Magic Online Pauper League 5-0 by a red-blue list combining Mono-Red Madness’ Sneaky Snacker engine with Mono-Blue Terror threats and interaction. The hybrid could add flexibility against the format’s established decks, but the report notes the two-color mana base may cost speed. One league finish is a lead, not proof of a new top deck.

Japan’s new Pokémon TCG binders give each region its own numbered pages

— PokéGuardian reports nine Collection File Premium binders, one for each region, arriving at Pokémon Center Japan on October 16. Each 2,420-yen binder has region-themed artwork and Pokédex-numbered card pockets; matching refill packs cost 700 yen. The announcement is for Japan, with no international availability confirmed in the report.
